Hello Lovelies!
I apologize about not posting this Monday, my best friend Cayley is visiting me from Canada and I didn’t have time to finish editing everything. We have been having too much fun catching up! I last shared with you that it was my lovely boyfriend’s birthday. We celebrated dinner at Sake Rok and have been wanting to come and check this place out since they opened seven months ago. Sake Rok is located inside the park on the strip next to the T-mobile Arena. This new addition to Vegas has been amazing so far with great new places to eat like Sake Rok and Beerhaus for some craft beer and live music and - not to mention all the talent and entertainment the arena brings. I love my city of Las Vegas it’s always changing and bringing new and exciting things each year.
Now back to Sake Rok; when you walk inside it has a very open concept with high ceilings and an upstairs dining area overlooking the main floor. We were sat towards the middle of the dining area where a hype man was getting everyone excited about their experience. He came over and challenged Chaz to a sake bomb race since it was his birthday. I joined in for the fun only to lose, but it was a close tie between Chaz and the hype man. Next thing you know our server and other members of the staff were dancing in a choreographed dance and he was singing. It was such a surprise and unlike any experience I have ever had dining. Our server killed it on the dance floor and still managed to keep our drinks full and food coming, thank you Amy B!
All of the food was incredible, one of my absolute favorites was the Rok chicken with bok choy, sweet potato puree and a spicy teriyaki sauce that just melted in mouth. The sweet potato puree really made the dish come together and the presentation alone was beautiful. Everything we had was delicious and will definitely be bringing us back to try more items. I will go over all the dishes and drinks we had below so you can get a peak of what Sake Rok is all about! Make sure to tune in Monday where I will be going over a healthier side option for Thanksgiving next week! I can’t wait to see my family and eat, eat, eat all day!! I hope you lovelies have a wonderful rest of your week!
